The Ventura County Fair celebrates its 143rd year with its annual 12 days of fun. With origins in horse racing, the fair has grown as a family-friendly rendezvous for locals and visitors.
Themed “A Country Fair With Ocean Air” the 12-day festival takes off as soon as the California Mid-State Fair — appropriately themed “Let’s Have S’More Fun” — tears down in Paso Robles. For the serious Central Coast TRVLR, it means possibly 24 days of fun to be had, and the carnival assistants and other vendors will be clocking some serious overtime with back-to-back fairs.
Whether you hit both fairs, or just one, the summer is looking bright. Go to the VCF website for info on entertainment and events for the 2019 season.
